Hi everybody. I had been looking around communities for a while, wanting to find a very active community commited to health ideas, tips, stories, and inspiration. I didnt find one, although there may be one out there.

I decided to create one in hopes of having a good active community, if you any of you all have any interest, i invite you to join me!

Hi everyone! 

I have a background in modeling and would like to get into it more seriously, but I've had a very hectic year and have been horrible about working out and eating healthy- I've only gained about 8 pounds, but I can tell my body-fat percentage is a lot higher than it should be. 

I have been through an eating disorder as a teenager (I recovered when I was 17, and I'm 25 now) and I wouldn't wish what I've been through on my worst enemy.  I want to work on developing a healthy lifestyle where I can feel confident in a bikini without starving myself or practicing disordered eating habits.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you who are in this with me!

Hello all, I recently joined this community and thought I should give a proper intro. I'm a 22 year old college student who has been struggling with ED (anorexia) for nearly all my life. Until I left home for college I averaged around 100lbs because I didn't feel like I deserved to eat (long story). But in college I found happiness, acceptance and love and the pounds began to pile on, which I was fine with. Over the last four years I gradually gained about 30lbs but stayed healthy and went to the gym when I could (once or twice a week usually). However, last summer I went on a trip and returned home with souvenirs, pictures and an additional 10lbs. Yikes! Being 5'3" that really made a difference, and coming home to find none of my pants fitting was rather unsettling. Needless to say, the ED I had so valiantly pushed aside for years resurfaced. However, this time without the depression so I've been trying diligently to remain healthy on this journey of weight loss.
So, that's my diet story. Right now my routine is basically to only eat when hungry and avoid stuffing myself. I'm trying my best now go to the gym 3x a week which includes upper body weight set and 30min each of stationary bike, elliptical and treadmill with 5lb ankle weights on (Love those things!)

Hello

I decieded to join a weight loss group because over the last three months i've gained 25lbs!
I'm 5ft 7 and i went from 140lbs to 165lbs. So i've decied that its 2010 and i'm embarking on a new diet & exercise regime. I'm looking for support and hope to find it here :)

I just joined this community about 5 seconds ago so I figured I'd follow that with my first post. I'm 16 years old and 153 pounds. For 2010 I'm makeovering my food choices and staying true to excersing. I feel like I can't get support from anyone I know either because they themselves are too lazy or are already skinny themselves. I'd be nice to have someone to exchange ideas and everything with.

there. im on a liquid/fruit &vegi diet. white fish is ok.
cant cheat on this diet gotta look good for boys haha

ok so im thin but im trying to build thigh muscles, and perk my ass up :D
wroked on glutes for 1hour &1/2 [drippin sweat]

ate protien shake

wait 4 hours

going to go again :D

rest tmarrow /moderate
running

next day repeat workout. &so on &so on

ill be posting just to keep myself in check.

Hi, I'm Paris + I'm new here.
I left school about 3yrs ago at the age of twelve, and progressively started to get bigger and bigger until i became rather bigger. I'm now fifteen and a uk size sixteen/eighteen.
Its really getting me down, as i used to walk everyday about 1 mile, and now i barely do anything.
Its got so bad that i was actually thinking about becoming bullimic/taking laxatives, i've decided that i can make it throught this and lose weight properly.
I just feel as if I have no sense of control over what I eat, and am constantly hungry.
My mother does the low GI diet, and while it works for her(she lost three stone) I dont like half the stuff they make you eat.
I eat healthy most of the time, take my dog out for walks every couple of days and do pilates once a week, but my downfall is chocolate, and as I'm hometaught I basically eat as I have nothing else to do, and I cant ask my parents to quit buying chocolate as I have a perfectly healthy five year old brother, and I dont want him not to be able to eat treats because of me. My stepsister is a size zero, and she constantly snarks about my weight.
I just want to lose weight, and become at least a size twelve/ten. I am seriously depressed about my weight.
can anyone give me any help on how to lose weight fast? as my mother is getting married in june and I really want to be in shape for then.

My name is Erin and I'm 15.
I used to be in great shape, I ran Cross Country  over the summer
and lost weight and I was really happy, but I got injured so I had to take
3 months off and now I'm unhappy with my weight. I am sure, since I will be
running full time soon, I can lose the weight, but I just need help eating healthy.

 this is my first post on here.. I really hate the way i look and it's time for me to change. im 15 years old, 5'5 and i weight 148 lbs.. i want to be around 125-130 lbs .. i want to lose weight before school starts .. i was wondering if anybody wanted to do this together.. we could maybe email eachother or text eachother for help. anybody interested?
